Project Overview

Planique is an innovative mobile app designed to simplify daily life by offering essential functionalities all in one place. Available on both iOS and Android platforms, Planique ensures users can manage their household tasks, health, budget, meal planning, and more through a user-friendly and modern interface. The app aims to bridge the gap between convenience and efficiency, providing users with an intuitive experience that eliminates the need for multiple applications.

Objective

  1. Create an easy-to-use app that combines essential household and personal management features.
  2. Offer two plans: a free basic version with essential features, and a premium version with advanced functionalities and integrations.
  3. Provide users with an efficient way to plan meals, manage their budget, track household supplies, and plan personal and family activities.

Research Methodology

Market Analysis

To gain a clear understanding of existing household management solutions, I analyzed leading competitors such as Notion, Cozi Family Organizer, and Evernote. The goal was to identify strengths and weaknesses in how these apps help users manage daily life across multiple domains.

User Interviews

I spoke to individuals who fell into the following categories:

Participants appreciated clean visuals, calm colors, and motivational micro-interactions (like progress indicators or success messages)

Users expressed a strong desire for cross-feature integration—for example, having the meal planner automatically update the shopping list

Usability Testing

I conducted usability tests with four participants, presenting them with an interactive mobile prototype of Planique. The objective was to identify any usability challenges that could prevent users from efficiently managing their household tasks, budgets, and daily routines within a single integrated platform.
Scenario: “You’ve recently downloaded Planique to help you better organize your household and daily life. Try using the app to plan your meals for the upcoming week, check what ingredients you already have at home, and add a new task to remind yourself to buy the missing ingredients. How easy was it to complete these tasks without switching to another app?”

All participants were able to navigate through the prototype smoothly and complete the tasks with minimal friction. They successfully switched between modules — from the Meal Planner to the Supplies and Budget Planners — demonstrating that the integrated design felt intuitive and cohesive.

Experience The Prototype

The final design successfully met the project’s objectives, delivering a responsive and user-friendly mobile platform that empowers individuals and families to manage their households with ease. Planique brings together essential daily-life tools—meal planning, budgeting, health tracking, and task organization—into one cohesive experience.
The app’s clean interface and intuitive navigation allow users to switch seamlessly between modules, creating a sense of flow and control in their day-to-day planning. By focusing on simplicity, integration, and personalization, the prototype demonstrates a truly user-centric approach—helping modern households save time, stay organized, and manage their responsibilities more efficiently.

Future Impact
For future iterations, I plan to enhance the user experience by incorporating feedback from ongoing usability tests and real-world app usage. As Planique evolves, the focus will remain on improving integration between modules and expanding personalization options—allowing users to tailor the app even more closely to their unique household needs.
Continuous testing and iterative updates will ensure that Planique remains intuitive, reliable, and relevant to the changing lifestyles of modern users. Future development will also explore advanced features, such as smart notifications, AI-assisted meal and budget suggestions, and cross-device syncing, further strengthening Planique’s role as an indispensable household management companion.
